National Band & Tag spent more than 10 years developing and refining our Pinless Peepers based on customer feedback and real-world use in poultry operations. Designed to help reduce aggressive pecking and cannibalism without the need for a pin through the nostrils, our peepers feature a durable clip-on design and are molded with the NB&T name on the back crossbar for easy identification.
While some loss is common with any pinless peeper, our design was engineered to improve retention while maintaining bird safety. Customers report that even when an occasional peeper is lost, birds continue to benefit from reduced pecking behavior and are less likely to become caught in netting compared to traditional pinned styles.

Application Instructions
For best results, warm the peepers before application by soaking them in hot water or placing them in the sun. The material becomes more flexible when warm, making installation easier.
Pinless Peepers can be applied by hand or with an external snap ring plier with angled tips. To use a plier, place the tips into the peeper behind the pins and gently spread it open. Align the pins with the bird’s nostrils and release the plier to secure the peeper in place. Snap ring pliers are not stocked by National Band & Tag but are commonly available at most hardware and auto parts stores.
